IBM Host On-Demand EHLLAPI Bridge by ActivCard is a compatibility component that enables EHLLAPI/HLLAPI-based terminal automation tools to work with IBM Host On-Demand. It translates standard EHLLAPI calls into Host On-Demand’s interface so existing macros, screen-scraping utilities, and integration applications can control TN3270, TN5250, or VT sessions delivered through a browser or thin client. By preserving established automation workflows while organizations move to the web-based Host On-Demand client, the bridge helps reduce migration effort and risk. Typically deployed on Windows, it requires the IBM Host On-Demand client and an active session to operate.
